The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-seat fighter aircraft of all World War Two. The Hawker Hurricane was designed and built by Hawker Aircraft Ltd, and made in Canada by the Canada Car and Foundry Co Ltd. The Hurricane was a fighting plane that pilots agreed would be having a great future. The Hawker Hurricane was a single-seat fighter aircraft which acted as interceptor-fighters, fighter-bombers. The Sea Hurricane had modifications which enabled operation from ships, some were converted as catapult-launched convoy escorts. The Hurricane was a British fighter airplanes significant in enabling the Royal Air Force (RAF) to win the Battle of Britain of 1940, and served in all the major theatres of the Second World War.
