Dutch Balloon Competition Club - Netherlands
The Dutch Balloon Competition Club organises hot-air ballooning competitions, including the annual Dutch National Balloon Championships for the Royal Dutch Aeroclub (KNVvL). In practice, all competition ballooning in the Netherlands is organised by the DBCC, and most of its pilots and officials are also members of the national aeroclub. They take competition ballooning quite seriously, even though their number is small: membership of the DBCC totals about 80, of whom about 20 to 25 are pilots.
