The Society's primary goal is to promote meteorology in the Philippines. The Philippine Meteorological Society offered: consultancy (weather, climate, hydrology, air polution and water quality assessment; client-customized weather forecasts and extended outlooks; wind and wave forecast; capacity building in the mitigation of impacts of extreme weather and climate in Philippines; conduct lectures, seminars and conferences on current environmental issues.
