Deutsche Meteorologische Gesellschaft - Germany
The DMG is a union of meteorologists and other persons interested in meteorology, as a scientific society on a nonprofit basis. Physical oceanography is concerned with problems similar to those in meteorology. Therefore oceanographers are also members in the DMG. The DMG offers its members a forum for spreading meteorological knowledge, supports the exchange of experience and cooperation among the members and promotes interdisciplinary contacts. The society represents meteorological interests in national and international panels.
